at Tel Aviv. Zachor v'Kabed: Remembering the Past and Honoring
the Present through Study and
Personal Contact is
a national Hillel Israel project in which students learn about Holocaust-related issues and do volunteer work with
Holocaust survivors. Inbar, the project coordinator at Tel Aviv Hillel, submitted
the following congratulations to Hillel on
the 85th birthday, from Zachor v'Kabed participants:
Dear Hillel, you have given me the opportunity to come and learn, but
most of all to face my conscience and live
with a full heart, knowing that my life
will add a little bit of "giving" to a world
that is mostly "taking." I wish that
